This Privacy Policy explains how Dunbar Technology, LLC (“Dunbar Technology,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile applications, websites, software, and related services.
This Privacy Policy applies to all applications developed, published, or operated by Dunbar Technology, LLC, including our current and future apps (collectively referred to as the “Services”).
By using our Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We design our apps to collect only the information needed to provide, maintain, and improve our Services.
Dunbar Technology does not require users to create an account, and we do not collect usernames, passwords, or personal profiles.
2. Location Information
Some of our Services use location information to provide features such as weather forecasts, astronomy information, photography conditions, maps, alerts, calculations, and other location-based tools.
Depending on the app and your device settings, location information may include:
- Your device’s current location while using the app
- Locations you manually search for or select
- Locations you choose to save within the app
Saved locations are stored locally on your device and are not stored on Dunbar Technology servers.
Location coordinates may be temporarily sent to third-party weather, mapping, astronomy, or environmental data providers when necessary to provide app functionality.
These providers process the location request and return the requested information. Dunbar Technology does not use your location to track your movements or create location profiles.
You can control location permissions at any time through your device settings. Some app features may not function properly without location access.
3. Analytics Information
We use Google Firebase Analytics to help understand how our apps are used and improve performance, reliability, and user experience.
Analytics information may include:
- Device type and operating system
- App version
- Feature usage
- General app interactions
- Performance information
Analytics information helps us identify which features are useful, improve our apps, and fix problems.
We do not use analytics information for advertising purposes.
4. Crash Reports and Diagnostics
We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect diagnostic information when errors or crashes occur.
Crash information may include:
- Device information
- Operating system version
- App version
- Technical logs related to the crash
- Error reports
This information is used only to identify problems, fix bugs, and improve app stability.
5. Notifications
Some of our Services use Firebase Cloud Messaging to provide optional notifications, alerts, reminders, or updates.
To deliver notifications, a device notification identifier may be generated and processed.
You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.
6. Purchases and Subscriptions
Some Services may offer optional subscriptions or in-app purchases.
Purchases are processed securely through:
- Apple App Store
- Google Play Store
Dunbar Technology does not directly process payments and does not receive or store your complete payment information, such as credit card numbers.
Apple and Google may provide limited purchase information necessary to verify subscription status and provide purchased features.
7. Third-Party Services
Our Services may use trusted third-party providers to operate certain features.
These may include:
- Weather and forecast data providers
- Astronomy data providers
- Mapping services
- Google Firebase services
- Apple and Google payment services
These third parties may process limited information necessary to provide their services.
8. Advertising and Sale of Personal Information
Our apps do not display third-party advertisements.
Dunbar Technology does not sell your personal information.
We do not share your information with advertising networks or use your information for cross-app advertising tracking.
9. Data Storage and Security
Dunbar Technology does not operate user account servers or maintain databases containing personal user profiles.
Information stored locally within our apps, such as saved locations or preferences, remains on your device unless otherwise stated.
We use reputable third-party services and reasonable safeguards to help protect information processed through our Services.
10. Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not directed toward children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

These rights may include:
- The right to request access to personal information
